Standard rates
Full Retreat (Sleeps 8)
$2,500 per night with a minimum two-night stay. Gain full access to Cowrie Retreat, including “The Little Retreat”, perfect for larger groups seeking additional space and privacy. In total, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
Main House Only (Sleeps 6)
$1,950 per night with a minimum two-night stay. Enjoy exclusive access to our elegantly appointed main house, which includes three luxurious bedrooms three ensuites and all luxury amenities.

Additional information
Cowrie Retreat is an adults-only accommodation; children over the age of 16 are welcome when accompanied by a parent.
Though we do love animals, pets are not permitted at the retreat for their own safety and for the protection of the native flora and fauna which abound in the dunes.

The master king bedroom
Nestled in the most secluded part of the retreat, the master king bedroom offers privacy and stunning ocean views. This room features a comfortable king-sized bed, a private ensuite, and direct access from its own deck to the dunes. The decor blends elegance and comfort, with luxury bedding and large windows inviting the outside in. It’s the perfect retreat for those seeking peace and rejuvenation.
The second bedroom with a super king sized bed
This super king bedroom is spacious, warm, and luxurious, with its dedicated bathroom suite across the hall. The room overlooks the inner deck, offering views of the dunes as a tranquil backdrop. It’s ideal for guests who appreciate extra space and sophisticated interior design.
The third bedroom with king sized bed
This very private king bedroom with ensuite and is situated to offer beautiful views across the inner deck into the dunes. It’s designed for guests who value privacy and quietness and features soft linens that ensure a restful night’s sleep.
The “Little Retreat”
Located across the inner deck, The “Little Retreat” has two spacious king single beds with a cosy sofa, television, and bar fridge. The ensuite looks back to the hills behind. The “Little Retreat” is an optional add-on that provides additional sleeping space. It overlooks the dunes and the sea, this space is versatile, serving as a peaceful retreat for relaxation or extra accommodation for larger groups of 8.

Each elegantly appointed bedroom includes their own ensuite, one ensuite conveniently located across the corridor for additional and generous space.

The fully-equipped kitchen features two fridges, dishwasher, gas cooktops, oven and a Zip tap for instant boiling and chilled filtered water, along with all the necessary utensils, glassware, cooking equipment and a well-stocked pantry.
Outdoor dining and lounging areas
Multiple decks offer a selection of settings for dining and relaxation with scenic views. Four comfortable reclining lounges on the northern protected deck provide the perfect spot to read, simply stare out to sea or have a nap.
